Wei-Jen Leow, Senior Financial Specialist of the World Bank. Weijen has years of development finance experience with the World Bank and currently manages its new CAPE initiative – an advisory service to governments on the macroeconomic and fiscal implications of climate change. He also serves as senior financial specialist on development investments, on public budgeting and expenditure reviews, and sustainability issues with a focus on East Asia Region. Weijen previously managed concessional finance for private sector investments at the International Finance Corporation, and was responsible for risk mitigation at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency. He was formerly Chief Specialist at the Singapore Ministry of Finance, responsibe for long term resilience and mitigation planning, including carbon taxes and clean energy financing. He was senior adjunct at the Energy Studies Institute of the National University of Singapore between 2011-2015.
